Stephen J. Ronan, MD
Founder & CEO
Dr. Ronan is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with clinical training spanning both academic and private-practice settings. He bridges two disciplines that rarely overlap: deep clinical experience and production-grade machine learning engineering.
He founded RonanLabs to bring physician-level rigor to healthcare AI — applying the same standards that govern clinical decision-making to the design, validation, and deployment of AI systems. RonanLabs was built on the premise that the people building healthcare AI should understand what happens when it fails.
Dr. Ronan is a Certified Anthropic Partner and leads the company's research direction, client engagements, and infrastructure strategy.
